About

Jan Siesling is a writer of art history, fiction, poetry, and a translator. He has published books and articles in Dutch, English and French, while some of his books were translated in Greek, Italian and Chinese. He studied art history and taught at the Amsterdam Free University. Subsequently he lived in France, teaching art history as a free-lance lecturer, and notably as a professor at exchange programs in France of Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, and the University of Southern Mississippi. From 2006 - 11, he was the director of the Museum of Art of the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS. He has always been a traveler, in Europe, North America, now discovering China.
