Toine Horvers, the performance artist, publishes a unique book in the history of contemporary art. In Dutch or in English, he describes in the most concrete and accurate terms his performance acts since the beginnings in 1979. The result is an intiguing exercise, debouching in a bundle of pure prose-poetry, the counterpart in words of the equally pure corporeal events, he staged during a lifetime and to which it is an original form of catalogue raisonné.
